Manchester’s an exciting place to build technology startups and with recent announcements such as Praetura Venture’s NPIF2 fund (including Praeseed), KPMG-Acceleris’ Wired for Growth initiative and investment momentum from the likes of Manchester Angels, we are really starting to shift the dial.
As a result, Manchester Digital and Glenluna Ventures have been asked to produce a piece of work for Manchester City Council to inform their startup investment strategy.
This piece of work is intended to document where each of the major pieces within the eco-system sit, identify any gaps and make recommendations to public sector stakeholders as to how they can support Manchester in its ambition to becoming a major force for UK startups.
